Privacy

Stop Cactus Club is a website run by neighbors in Panorama Heights, Joshua Tree. It has no accounts, sign-ups or forms that send us anything.

What we collect

• Visits. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which parts of the page people use, such as copying the letter, opening it in an email app, or playing the video. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. You can block it in your browser's settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.
• Server logs. Our host, Amazon CloudFront, keeps a log line for each request, including your IP address and browser, for 90 days, to keep the site running and secure.
• Your letter. The letter you write here stays on your device; your browser keeps a draft so you don't lose it. It goes nowhere unless you send it yourself, from your own email.
• Email to us. If you email info@stopcactusclub.org, or copy it on your letter, we keep your message and address to count letters and to tell you when the Board hearing is set.

What we share

Google and Amazon process data for us as described above. We may tell the Board of Supervisors how many letters we've counted. We don't sell or share your email address.

Your choices

To have your email address deleted, write to info@stopcactusclub.org.
